Password 97 is fully year 2000 Compliant
The file system that is a part of the Windows operating system keeps a file date and time. You must look to your operating system to assure that it is Year 2000 compliant in order to be sure that the file date stamp is correctly recorded. Password 97 does access the date kept by the file system. It allows the operating system to date stamp a file when a file is saved, and uses a simple Time subtraction to determine if a user's time is up. As the maximum time you can set for a user is 1 day the Year Digits are not applicable in the calculation. So as long as the underlying hardware and operating system software is Year 2000 Compliant. Password 97 is also Year 2000 Compliant.
